A ribbon blender is a horizontal mixing machine with a U-shaped trough and a rotating shaft fitted with inner and outer helical ribbons that mix materials efficiently.

Inner ribbon → moves material in one direction

Outer ribbon → moves material in opposite direction
This creates uniform and fast mixing

Working Principle :

Materials are loaded into the blender

Shaft rotates → ribbons move material in opposite directions

Radial + axial movement ensures uniform mixing

Mixing time: usually 10–20 minutes depending on material
