🔹 What is a DAF Tank?
A DAF tank is a treatment unit where air-saturated water is injected into wastewater, creating tiny air bubbles that attach to contaminants and float them to the surface.
Working Principle :
Wastewater enters the DAF tank
Air is dissolved in water under pressure
When pressure is released → microbubbles form
Bubbles attach to oil, grease, and solids
Contaminants float to the surface as scum layer
Clean water exits from the bottom
👉 Process is based on flotation instead of sedimentation
